SINCE I OWN A 1953 CHIEF, 1939 FOUR, 1949 SCOUT, 1950 SCOUT, 1929 JUNIOR SCOUT, 1940 PAPOOSE, 1941 PAPOOSE, AND A 1941 741 MILITARY MODEL. I BELIEVE I CAN STATE MY OPENION. THESE BIKES WERE WORKS OF ART BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP. AMERICAN PARTS, ALL MADE BY INDIAN, THEY WERE BEUTIFUL. AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED THE LAST INDIAN WAS MADE IN 1953. THESE NEW ONES ARE ALRIGHT BUT THERE NOT INDIANS. I WILL NEVER BE CONVINCED, WITH THEIR S&S POS ENGINES, FAT REAR FENDER, AND TOO WIDE OF HANDLE BARS. THEY CAME THEY FELL, MAY THE INDIAN NAME REST IN PEACE.
